Artem Chigvintsev To Miss “Dancing With The Stars” Due To COVID
Disney has announced that Artem Chigvintsev will not be taking part in today’s episode of “Dancing With The Stars” due to contracting COVID, so he will temporarily replaced by Ezra Sosa, who will dance with “The Bachelorette” Charity Lawson.

“Dancing with the Stars” is hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough. The hit series pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Some of this year’s celebrities include Xochitl Gomez, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Mraz, Jamie Lynn Spears and Mira Sorvino.
Tonight’s episode will be Latin night, and it will air live on ABC and Disney+ in the United States and Canada at 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT, 7:00 p.m. CDT). It will also be available the next day on Hulu.
The night will feature a fiery opening number to “DESPECHÁ” by ROSALÍA, choreographed by pros Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov, with partner dances including the Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Samba or Tango.
Fans will be able to vote during the live simulcast of the show in the EDT/CDT time zones. During this time, online voting will be available to fans in any time zone in the U.S., its territories and Canada via dwtsvote.abc.com, and fans with a participating U.S. wireless carrier can also vote via SMS/text (fans in Canada cannot vote via SMS/text). Live viewer votes will be combined with the judges scores each episode to determine which couples may be in jeopardy of elimination.
