During the Marvel Studios panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed some new details on the upcoming film, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”.

Super Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Paul Rudd told the crowd,

“Scott is pretty pleased with himself in his role with saving the universe”

Family’s a big theme for the movie, as the whole cast teased, but when asked about the Scott-Cassie dynamic, considering he was gone for so much of her life, both stars are mum. “Cassie is becoming who she’s supposed to be,” Newton offered up. “And I don’t want to say anything else!”

Director Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Jonathan Majors and Kathryn Newton engaged in a spirited Q&A with the host. Epic in scale and tone, “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” is a sci-fi adventure that is decidedly unique to the franchise. Fans in the room were given a special look at the upcoming film.

A new poster was also released, giving us a first look at Ant-Man, Wasp and also Stinger in their costumes.

The film will kick off Phase 5 when it arrives in cinemas on February 17th 2023 before arriving on Disney+ later in 2023.
