During the “Disney Channel Fan Fest,” event that took place at the Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California, this past Saturday.  A sneak peek video was revealed for a new animated series called Amphibia, which is coming to the Disney Channel this summer.

After stealing a mysterious music box, 13-year-old, Anne Boonchuy (Brenda Song) is magically transported to the world of Amphibia, a wild marshland full of talking frog-people. With the help of an excitable young frog named Sprig, Anne will transform from monster to hero and discover the first true friendship of her life!

Amphibia is created and executive produced by Annie Award-winning director Matt Braly (Disney’s “Gravity Falls”).

With the Disney Channel set to be a major part of the upcoming streaming service, Disney+, with 5000 episodes and 100 movies, expect Amphibia to be one of the most popular series set to come to Disney+, when it launches later this year in the US.
