“American Horror Story” Returning For 13th Season
To celebrate Halloween, Ryan Murphy took to social media to confirm the cast for the upcoming thirteenth season of the hit FX series, “American Horror Story”, which is expected to premiere in 2026.
The new season will star Ariana Grande, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and Jessica Lange.
This new video reveals the cast of the new season, before taking a sinister turn, with a look at a haunted house, with the words:
“Surprise, bitch. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.”
While no other details on the upcoming season have been revealed, that quote could indicate that the story could be bringing back some characters from previous seasons, as that quote comes from Emma Roberts’ character, Madison Montgomery, from the third American Horror Story season, which was called “Coven”. Generally, Ryan Murphy doesn’t give much plot detail about upcoming seasons in advance, keeping the overall story hidden so fans can be surprised as they watch.
All of the actors revealed in the teaser trailer have previously worked with Ryan Murphy on other shows, mainly with the “American Horror Story” franchise, though Ariana Grande starred in “Scream Queens”.
There wasn’t a new season of American Horror Story” this year, as Ryan Murphy has been busy working on many other shows for Disney such as “Doctor Odyssey”, “Mid-Century Modern”, “9-1-1: Nashville” and “All’s Fair”.
As with previous “American Horror Story” seasons, we should expect to see it air on the FX channel and also on Hulu/Disney+. The previous seasons, along with the spin-off series, “American Horror Stories” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
