Just ahead of the release of the new Lucasfilm film, “Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny” at the end of June, Lucasfilm and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced that it will be releasing all four “Indiana Jones” films, including “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” individually for the first time on 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and HDR-10 in the United States on June 6th, 2023.

In 2021, each film was remastered from 4K scans of the original negatives with extensive work done to ensure the most pristine and highest quality image. The picture work was approved by director Steven Spielberg. In addition, all four films were remixed at Skywalker Sound to create Dolby Atmos soundtracks.

Now available in separate editions, each disc will be beautifully packaged with artwork inspired by the original theatrical posters and will include access to a digital copy of each respective film.

In addition, Indy fans will have the chance to relive the exploits of the globetrotting archaeologist in the classic that started it all when Raiders of the Lost Ark returns to select theatres on June 4th 2023 and 7th 2023. Tickets for this special engagement presented by Fathom Events and Paramount Pictures can be purchased at participating theatre box offices.

Paramount Pictures has the distribution rights to the first four films, which is why currently, the films aren’t available on Disney+, though hopefully maybe in the future, the two companies can make a deal to bring the films to Disney+, but in the meantime, they are also available on a variety of different platforms including Paramount+.

Will you be picking up any of these “Indiana Jones” films on 4K Ultra HD?
