“The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” Coming Soon To 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray
Disney has announced details on the upcoming 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray version of the classic film, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, to coincide with the upcoming release of the Netflix film, “Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew”.
Based on the acclaimed 1950 novel by C.S. Lewis, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” is directed by Andrew Adamson and stars Tilda Swinton, James McAvoy, and Liam Neeson. The film is the first instalment in the popular “The Chronicles of Narnia” series and, upon its theatrical debut, became the second highest-grossing film domestically in 2005 and the third highest-grossing movie worldwide. The film went on to win an Oscar for Best Achievement in Makeup in 2006, while also earning nominations for Best Achievement in Sound Mixing and Best Achievement in Visual Effects.
