Disney has released a trailer and poster for a brand new Turkish Original, “Aktris”, which is going to be coming out on Disney+ in many countries around the world, including Turkey and Canada on May 31st 2023. As with most international originals, I’d expect the show to get a global release on Disney+ and on Hulu in the US.

This new series is about an acclaimed actress, who, when night falls, transforms into a ruthless vigilante, seeking retribution against those who perpetrate violence against women and children.

This new comedy criminal thriller has been written by Hakan Bonomo, who has previously worked on the television series “Family”. It has been directed by Soner Caner and it stars Pinar Deniz and Uraz Kaygılaroğlu. Also starring in the series is Tolga Tekin, Ahmet Rifat Sungar, Şebnem Hassanisoughi, İpek Çiçek, and Serhat Kılıç.
