ABC’s “High Potential” Breaks Four Year Viewership Record
Disney has announced details on the success of its new drama series, “High Potential”, which follows a single mom with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective.
Based on the popular French series “Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI),” “High Potential” stars Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, Daniel Sunjata as Karadec, Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena.
Disney has announced that the fifth episode of the show was watched by 10.49 million viewers, within the first seven days of viewing across ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms.
The show pulled in 6.83 million viewers on ABC, making it the most successful show in the 10 pm time slot on Tuesday evenings in four years.
Demonstrating remarkable strength in multiplatform viewing over seven days across ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms, “High Potential” grew +191% in Total Viewers over its initial Live +Same Day audience (10.49 million vs. 3.60 million) and a staggering +600% in Adults 18-49 (2.03 rating vs. 0.29 rating).
Continuing to build audience, “High Potential” grew +2% in Total Viewers over the previous week (10.49 million vs. 10.31 million).
Season to date through week five, “High Potential” stands as ABC’s most-watched (10.42 million) new series in six years – since the 2018-2019 season with “The Conners.”
ABC Signature produces “High Potential.” Drew Goddard, Sarah Esberg of Goddard Textiles, and Todd Harthan serve as executive producers. Kaitlin Olson serves as producer.
The previous episodes of “High Potential” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
