Disney’s ABC has announced a reshuffling of its primetime release schedule due to the ongoing writers/actors strike and is going to be moving its “The Bachelor” franchise shows, with “Golden Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” airing back to-back from 8 pm on Thursday nights on ABC from September 28th 2023. These new episodes will be available on Hulu the following day.

Originally, “Bachelor in Paradise” was going to air on Tuesdays and “The Golden Bachelor” was going to air on Mondays after “Dancing With The Stars”, but that slot has been opened for an unannounced show. There are still some empty slots in ABC’s schedule, which will be announced soon.

“Bachelor in Paradise” follows fan favourites from previous seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” as they make their way to the beaches of Mexico, looking to find love in the sun.

After more than 20 years of fostering young love on “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise,” “The Golden Bachelor” showcases a whole new kind of love story – one for the golden years. On this all-new unscripted series, one hopeless romantic is given a second chance at love in the search for a partner with whom to share the sunset years of life. The women arriving at the mansion have a lifetime of experience, living through love, loss and laughter, hoping for a spark that ignites a future full of endless possibilities. In the end, will our Golden man turn the page to start a new chapter with the woman of his dreams?

A new teaser trailer for “The Golden Bachelor” was also released today:

Both shows are produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon.
