Disney+ To Add “Hannah Montana” Streams Channel
Disney has announced it will be offering fans the opportunity to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary with the launch of a new “Streams” channel on Disney+.
This new Stream will offer fans a Hannah Montana marathon that features all four seasons of “Hannah Montana”, “Hannah Montana: The Movie”, and “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert”. These titles are also available to stream on Disney+.
“Hannah Montana” is a live-action comedy series that follows typical tween Miley Stewart, who lives with her older brother and widowed dad, a songwriter. But unbeknownst to her friends and classmates, Miley has a secret double life – she is the world-famous pop star Hannah Montana. Combining a stage persona with creative costuming, Miley discovers she can have the best of both worlds – the fame and fortune of a well-known singer and the fun of high school with her best friends Lilly and Oliver, whom she has entrusted with her secret identity.
While in the movie, let’s fans see Hannah like never before as she returns to her roots and faces the most important decision of her life. When Miley Stewart (aka pop star Hannah Montana) gets too caught up in the superstar celebrity lifestyle, her dad decides it’s time for a total change of scenery. But sweet niblets! Miley must trade in all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood for some ol’ blue jeans on the family farm in Tennessee and question if she can be both Miley Stewart and Hannah Montana. With a little help from her friends—and awesome guest stars Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Vanessa Williams—will she figure out whether to choose Hannah or Miley?
The new “Hannah Montana” Streams channel will launch on Disney+ in the United States on February 19th 2026, for Premium tier subscribers.
Streams is a lean-back viewing experience on Disney+, and the selection of channels available changes regularly. The ABC News and Disney+ Playtime Streams are available to all Disney+ subscribers.
