Disney has announced that the hit drama series, “9-1-1” is returning from its mid-season break with new episodes from its sixth season on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland from Wednesday, 26th April 2023.

The series comes from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, who have reimagined the procedural drama with “9-1-1”, which explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders — including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers — who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives. The show draws from real-life, high-pressure experiences of first responders who regularly face heart-stopping situations that are often unpredictable, intense and uplifting at the same time.

9-1-1 is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear are creators, executive producers and writers on the series. Bradley Buecker is an executive producer and director on the series. Alexis Martin Woodall, Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, John J. Gray, Kristen Reidel and Juan Carlos Coto also serve as executive producers.

The previous five seasons of “9-1-1” are also available to stream now on Disney+, in addition to its spin-off series, “9-1-1: Lonestar”.  The first nine episodes of the latest season are also available to stream.
