The new film will star Florian Munteanu, Walton Goggins and Amber Midthunder.  It tells the story of a young woman, trained in combat from childhood, who uses her skills to rescue her kidnapped father, embarking on a perilous mission that tests her abilities to the limit.

Amber Midthunder previously starred in “Prey” and will be playing the lead role, while Walton Goggins will be playing the role of her father.  No character details have been revealed about Florian’s role.  He has previously starred in “Shang-Chi And The Legends Of The Ten Rings” and “Creed”.

Derek Kolstad, who previously worked on “John Wick”, has written the script and will produce, along with Drew Simon and Sam Speiser of FilmNation’s Infrared Pictures, as well as Josh Adler of Circle M + P,. J.R. Young is overseeing the project for the studio.  James Cameron is also an executive producer on the movie.

According to Deadline, production is set to begin later this month in Serbia.  Originally, Alan Ritchson was attached to the movie, but was forced to pull out of the project due to scheduling conflicts.

No release details have been revealed, such as a date or if it will be released in cinemas or on Disney+ first.
