20th Century Studios is developing a brand new holiday film, which is called ‘The 17th Annual Coral Gables Christmas Caroling Extravaganza’.

No plot details on this new film have been revealed.  The script has been written by Annie Mumolo and Stan Chervin, which is based on an initial script by Connor Hines & Cory Walls. 

According to Deadline, it has been pitched as a comedy, in the vein of “Pitch Perfect” and “Bridesmaids”.

This upcoming project is being produced by Michael Sugar and Ashley Zalta from Sugar23.  Jillian Kay will be an executive producer on the series.

 ‘The 17th Annual Coral Gables Christmas Caroling Extravaganza’ is going to be directed by Tate Taylor, who has previously worked on “Palm Royale”, “The Help”, “Get On Up” and “The Girl on the Train”.

It has also not been revealed whether the film will be released in cinemas first or if it will be a straight-to-Hulu/Disney+ release.
