“20/20: Ride Or Die” Coming Soon To ABC, Hulu & Disney+

Disney has released new details on an upcoming episode of “20/20”, which is called ‘Ride or Die,’ which will be coming soon to ABC, Hulu and Disney+.

On a beautiful fall morning in 2020, 24-year-old mother Alyssa Burkett arrived for work in New Carrollton, Texas, when she was shot in the head by a man in a black SUV. Miraculously, she managed to run toward her office building, but the assailant attacked her again with a hunting knife, stabbing her multiple times before fleeing. “20/20” follows police step by step as they investigate what appears to be an intensely personal attack. The discovery of an abandoned vehicle blows the case wide open and leads to an arrest. Case closed? Not quite. What the killer ultimately shares with the police reveals a possible mastermind of the shooting, who is still on the loose.

Through real-time surveillance footage, 911 calls and police body camera video, the episode deconstructs the anatomy of the crime and the determination of law enforcement to make an arrest. “20/20” sits down exclusively with Andrew Beard, the man behind bars for Alyssa’s death.

ABC News’ “20/20” is the No. 1 award-winning primetime program anchored by David Muir and Deborah Roberts. A proven leader as a long-form newsmagazine for over 45 years, “20/20” features unforgettable, character-driven true-crime mysteries, exclusive newsmaker interviews, hard-hitting investigative reports, and in-depth coverage of high-profile stories. Janice Johnston is the executive producer.

“Ride or Die” will premiere on Tuesday, 16th December 2025 at 10:00-11:00 p.m. EST on ABC, and it will stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu in the United States.  Recent episodes are also available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.
