“Zootopia 2” Disney+ Release Date Revealed

Disney has announced that the biggest box office hit of 2025, “Zootopia 2”, will be coming soon to very soon to Disney+, following its digital and physical release window.

In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia 2″, rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake (voiced by Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan) arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.

The Oscar-winning team of Jared Bush and Byron Howard (directors) and Yvett Merino (producer) are the principal filmmakers on this film.

“Zootopia 2” is already available to purchase on digital platforms, and it will be coming to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 3rd.  Disney+ subscribers won’t have too much longer to wait, as Disney has confirmed on its social media posts in Canada that the film will arrive on Disney+ on March 11th 2026, so we should expect the film to be released globally on the streaming platform on the same day, since it looks like the social media post has gone live a little early.

With a March 11th date, it marks just over one hundred days from its initial theatrical release to streaming.
