Disney has announced that it will be bringing the Japanese Disney+ Original special, “Yuzuru Hanyu Ice Story 2023 “Gift” at Tokyo Dome” to Disney+ subscribers in the United States on Friday 14th July 2023.

The first-ever solo ice show at Tokyo Dome, “GIFT,” is a story that self-portrays Yuzuru Hanyu’s life and future on the ice. This piece is produced by professional skater Yuzuru Hanyu, and directed by MIKIKO, who is known for using the latest technology stage production.

A special one-night-only special ice rink was created at the Tokyo Dome just for this performance, and 13 performances were performed in two parts.

This special was released on Disney+ in many countries across Asia earlier this year, and a special edition version of the event was also recently released on Disney+ in Asia.
