Earlier this year, the ABC drama series, “Will Trent” returned for a second season, and it has been a huge success, as it was the highest-rated multiplatform telecast since January 2023 among adults aged between 18-49 and was watched by 9 million viewers across ABC, Hulu, Hulu On Disney+ and other digital platforms.

With the second season improving on its viewing numbers, Disney has announced that the show has been renewed for a third season.

Based on Karin Slaughter’s New York Times bestselling “Will Trent” series, Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was abandoned at birth and endured a harsh coming-of-age in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Now, Will uses his unique point of view in the pursuit of justice and has the highest clearance rate in the GBI.

“Will Trent” stars Ramón Rodríguez as Will Trent, Sonja Sohn as Amanda Wagner, Erika Christensen as Angie Polaski, Iantha Richardson as Faith Mitchell and Jake McLaughlin as Michael Ormewood.

The show’s executive producers are Liz Heldens, Daniel Thomsen, Karin Slaughter and Oly Obst. Ramón Rodríguez is also a producer.

Previous episodes of “Will Trent” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.  New episodes are being released each week.  The series has also been released internationally as a Star Original on Disney+.
