During a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, Whoopi Goldberg was asked about the upcoming third “Sister Act” film, which is being developed for Disney+.

Whoopi Goldberg revealed that she had recently received a script for the film:

“The script came in yesterday. I really like it but it has a whole lot of adults to go through. So, if they don’t get in its way, it could actually be pretty good.”

She then went on to ask if Jimmy Fallon would like to make a cameo in the film, as she explained they have a scene similar to how in the classic 1960s “Batman” series, you’d see Batman climbing a wall on a rope and “suddenly a window would open and somebody would stick their head out.” Whoopi asked Jimmy,

“Would you stick your head out if we made a space for you to just come and do it for like a day?”

Fallon replied,

“Yes! Are you kidding me? To be in Sister Act 3? Of course, I would do that, I would do anything for you.”

“Sister Act 3” was originally announced during the 2020 Investors Day event, and it will be produced by Tyler Perry.  With the script only just coming in and there will no doubt be some alterations, it does feel like this film might slowly becoming a reality.
