Disney has released a trailer and poster for a new Latin American Original, “When Frank Met Carlitos”, aka “Cuando Frank Conoció A Carlitos”, which will be coming to Disney+ around the world on Friday, 18th August 2023.

This special brings together Carlos Gardel and Frank Sinatra, played by Oscar Lajad and Pablo Turturiello, for the first time in a single night. According to legend, Gardel was making a presentation on NBC in New York when a young admirer, eager to meet the “great baritone from the River Plate”, who was none other than Frank Sinatra, at 19 years old. The story is made up of parts of true events and shows the two greatest singers in America dealing with common themes, such as love, friendship, the neighbourhood and gambling.
