This December, Lucasfilm is releasing a brand new live-action Star Wars series, “Skeleton Crew”, which follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home—and meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined. 

The series stars Jude Law, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost. Episodes are directed by Jon Watts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung, Jon Watts and Christopher Ford are the head writers and also serve as executive producers along with Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Chris Buongiorno, Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are the co-executive producers, and Susan McNamara and John Bartnicki are the producers.         

How Many Episodes Of “Skeleton Crew” Will There Be?

The brand-new series will consist of eight episodes.

When Will New “Skeleton Crew” Episodes Be Released On Disney+?

Originally, Disney announced that the first episode of “Skeleton Crew” would be released Disney+ around the world on December 3rd 2024, with new episodes being released weekly afterwards.   However, it made a last-minute change to release the first two episodes a day earlier on December 2nd 2024.

Much like other major Star Wars and Marvel shows, “Skeleton Crew” will be getting a primetime release in the evening, so while the show will be released globally at the same time, technically, due to time zones, the show will arrive a day later across Europe, Africa, The Middle East, Asia and Australasia.

Here’s a list of when each of the new episodes will be released in the United States, Canada and Latin America:

What Time Will New Episodes Of “Skeleton Crew” Be Released On Disney+

The new episodes will be released at the following times:

• Pacific Time: 6:00 PM
• Eastern Time: 9:00 PM
• UK: 2:00 AM – Next Day
• Sydney, Australia – 1:00 PM – Next Day

Sometimes, episodes can arrive a few minutes later as the servers update. The Disney+ front page usually updates about an hour later.

Is “Skeleton Crew” on Netflix?

This series is made by Lucasfilm exclusively for Disney+, so it will not be available on Netflix, Max, or Amazon.
