It’s Wednesday and time to take a look at what’s been added onto Disney+ in Canada today, which includes a brand new film from Walt Disney Studios and the return of Groot!

Here’s the rundown:

The Little Mermaid

“The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden from interacting with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.

I Am Groot – Season 2

The troublemaking twig returns to mischief in the second season of “I Am Groot.” This time, Baby Groot finds himself exploring the universe and beyond aboard the Guardians’ spaceships, coming face-to-face—or nose-to-nose—with new and colorful creatures and environments. Vin Diesel is back as the voice of Groot in five all-new shorts.

Praise Petey (S1)

Petey, a New York City “it” girl, has it all until her life comes crashing down around her, but she gets a new lease on life when she “leans into” modernizing her father’s small-town cult.

In this supernatural action series, children who live in hiding with superpowers and their parents who live with painful secrets of the past face enormous dangers together.

NCT 127: The Lost Boys (S1, Two-Episodes)

This series will see Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark, and Haechan reflect on their childhoods and experiences growing up in different parts of the world and how they’ve come to terms with their international success.
