It’s Wednesday and time to take a look at what’s new on Disney+ today in Australia and New Zealand, which includes some brand new originals plus the latest 20th Century Studios blockbuster and much more.

Here’s the rundown:


Percy Jackson and the Olympians – 2 Episode Premiere

“Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson, who’s just coming to terms with his newfound divine powers when the sky god, Zeus, accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. With help from his friends Grover and Annabeth, Percy must embark on an adventure of a lifetime to find it and restore order to Olympus.


The Creator

The film, which stars John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, newcomer Madeleine Yuna Voyles, and Allison Janney, is set amidst a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence. Joshua (Washington), a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife (Chan), is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war…and mankind itself. Joshua and his team of elite operatives journey across enemy lines, into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory, only to discover the world-ending weapon he’s been instructed to destroy is an AI in the form of a young child (Voyles).


BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star – Episodes 1 & 2

Featuring never-before-seen interviews, performances and behind-the-scenes moments with RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star will take audiences on an in-depth journey across the band’s 10-year career, highlighting their highs and lows for the first time ever in a captivating docuseries format.


The Simpsons – New Episode

When Groundskeeper Willie is kidnapped to Scotland, Bart and the Simpsons follow – only to discover that what awaits is Homer’s worst nightmare.


PJ Masks: Power Heroes (S1, 5 episodes)

Amaya, Greg, and Connor become the superhero team PJ Masks when malicious villains attack the people of the town and ruin their peace.


Black-ish: Season 8

A man tries to get his family to mingle with the neighbours and form a rapport with them in an effort to fit in and find his place in society.


Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life (Season 2) (UK Original) – Special Christmas Episode

Chip and Dale are as eager as ever to increase their acorn stash. But their tumultuous dynamic makes it hard for things to ever go right. Along with Pluto, Donald, and even more Disney characters, the world’s favorite chipmunk duo take on a brand-new chunk of trouble!


Dragons of Wonderhatch (S1, Two-Episode Premiere)

Nagi doesn’t feel she fits in with her surroundings; she lives in the real world and can visualise colours whenever she hears sounds; Tyme lives in the alternate world of Upananta, where a strange phenomenon is occurring.


Undead Unluck – Episode 2

Andy makes a move on Fuko, thinking an even greater unluck will happen. To prevent physical assault, Fuko explains that the higher her likability for the other person is, the larger the unluck becomes.


Soundtrack #2 (Korean Original) – Episodes 5 and 6

Suho and Hyeonseo, who once dated for six years, meet again as a youthful rich CEO and a piano instructor who gave up on her dreams. Despite the awkward reunion, the two start piano lessons for their respective purposes
