What’s New On Disney+ | Suncoast (Australia/New Zealand)
It’s Friday and Disney+ subscribers in Australia and New Zealand have some new original content to enjoy today including an Oscar nominated short plus a brand new film from Searchlight Pictures.

Suncoast
Based on the semi-autobiographical story of a teenager (Nico Parker) who, while caring for her brother along with her audacious mother (Laura Linney), strikes up an unlikely friendship with an eccentric activist (Woody Harrelson) who is protesting one of the most landmark medical cases of all time.
Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó
Academy Award Nominee for Best Documentary Short film “Nǎi Nai and Wài Pó” is a personal love letter from first generation Taiwanese-American director Sean Wang, to his Nǎi Nai and Wài Pó (Grandma & Grandma). From Disney, this multigenerational story follows this grandma super team that dances, stretches and farts their sorrows away. As the first installment of the “People & Places” relaunch, Walt Disney’s Academy Award-winning documentary short film series from the 1950s and 1960s.
The Mission
American missionary John Chau is killed as he attempts to make contact with an Indigenous group off the coast of India, one of the last communities on Earth still living in isolation.
