It’s Friday and time to take a look at what’s been added onto Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland today, which includes a brand new exclusive film, “Plan B”, some Hollywood hits and some ESPN sports documentaries.

Here’s the rundown:

Spider-Man (2002)

Average teenager Peter Parker is transformed into an extraordinary superhero after he is accidentally bitten by a radioactive spider. When his beloved uncle is savagely murdered during a robbery, young Peter vows to use his powers to avenge his death. Deeming himself “Spider-Man,” he sets about ridding the streets of crime, bringing him into conflict with malevolent super-villain “Green Goblin.”


Spider-Man 2 (2004)

In “Spider-Man™ 2,” Tobey Maguire returns as the mild-mannered Peter Parker, who is juggling the delicate balance of his dual life as college student and a superhuman crime fighter. Peter’s life becomes even more complicated when he confronts a new nemesis, the brilliant Otto Octavius who has been reincarnated as the maniacal and multi-tentacled “Doc Ock.” When Doc Ock kidnaps MJ, Spider-Man must swing back into action as the adventure reaches new heights of unprecedented excitement.


The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

A teenage Peter Parker grapples with both high school and amazing super-human crises as his alter-ego Spider-Man.


The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)

It’s great to be Spider-Man, but being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro, Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.


Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero. Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May, under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine, but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

 


Plan B (2021)

After a regrettable sexual encounter, a straight-laced student and her best friend have 24 hours to hunt down a Plan B pill in South Dakota.


Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)

With his impeccable vocal abilities, Freddie Mercury and his rock band, Queen, achieve superstardom. However, amidst his skyrocketing success, he grapples with his ego, sexuality and a fatal illness.


Legend Of Bagger Vance (2000)

Captain Rannulph Junuh meets a mysterious caddie who teaches him the art of mastering the perfect golf swing and finding meaning in one’s existence.


Under Siege (1992)

A CIA agent and his mercenaries seize a Marine battleship to obtain the nuclear warheads. However, the only person aboard who can save the ship is a former Navy SEAL turned cook.


Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995)

Casey Ryback, a retired Navy officer, boards a train as he sets out on a vacation with his niece. He realises that the train is used by a terrorist organisation to hijack a destructive US satellite.


Don’t Say A Word (2001)

Nathan, a psychiatrist, is asked to treat Elisabeth, a woman with a mental disorder. However, a thief kidnaps his daughter and demands that he obtain intel from Elisabeth about a stolen gemstone.


Bedazzled (2000)

Elliot Richardson is a shy man who is reluctant to convey his feelings to the girl he loves. Observing his sad state, the Devil grants him seven wishes in exchange for his soul.


Legend (1985)

Darkness (Tim Curry) seeks to create eternal night by destroying the last of the unicorns. Jack (Tom Cruise) and his friends do everything possible to save the world and Princess Lili (Mia Sara) from the hands of Darkness. Enter a world of unicorns, magic swamps, dwarfs and rainbows.


Down With Love (2003)

Catcher Block, a journalist, vows to seduce a writer, Barbara Novak, who preaches that women do not need men to make them happy. However, he starts falling for her while carrying out his ploy.


Lost Cities with Albert Lin: The Great Flood

Albert Lin is on a global adventure, from the icy Black Sea depths to the heights of the Peruvian Andes, searching for the origins of Great Flood stories.


Bad Boys (2014)

Few teams in professional sports history elicit such a wide range of emotions as the Detroit Pistons of the late 1980s and early ’90s. For some, the team was heroic — made up of gritty, hard-nosed players who didn’t back down from anyone. And for others, it was exactly that trait — the willingness to do seemingly anything to win — that made them the “Bad Boys,” the team fans loved to hate.
