It’s Wednesday and time to take a look at what’s been added onto Disney+ in Canada today, which includes multiple new original series such as the new French drama series, “Oussekine” and new library content.

Here’s the rundown:

Ousseline

On the night of 5 December 1986, 22-year-old Malik Oussekine was beaten to death by the police. The state machine steps into gear, led by Robert Pandraud. The Oussekine family quickly realise that they will have to fight for justice and to expose the truth. Oussekine is a four-episode miniseries about the Oussekine family’s struggle. It goes back through the events, shows their hopes and disillusions, and paints the portrait of a country in turmoil.

The Quest

Brought to the screen by the Academy Award- and Emmy-winning teams behind “The Lord of the Rings,” “The Amazing Race” and “Queer Eye,” “The Quest” is a ground-breaking, immersive, hybrid competition series that drops eight real-life teenagers (Paladins) into the fantastic, fictional world of Everealm, where they must save a Kingdom by fulfilling an ancient prophecy. Throughout the eight-episode series, these heroes are immersed in a fantasy world come to life complete with a castle, royals, ethereal Fates, all forms of mystical creatures and a Sorceress intent on destruction and power.

Rebel (S1)

Inspired by the life of Erin Brockovich, Annie “Rebel” Bello is a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree. She’s a funny, messy, brilliant and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves. When Rebel applies herself to a fight she believes in, she will win at almost any cost.

This is Us (S1-3)

Jack and his wife – who is very pregnant with triplets – have just moved into their new home in Pittsburgh. Successful and handsome television actor Kevin is growing increasingly bored with his bachelor lifestyle. Randall – who was abandoned at a fire station by his father as an infant – is a stylish New York-based businessman working to raise two daughters with his wife, Beth. These people are among a group, several of whom share a birthday, of seemingly random individuals whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways.

The Hardy Boys – Season 2 – Episodes 1-4

Brothers Frank and Joe join their father and head to Bridgeport to investigate the circumstances behind a recent tragedy to them. Things take a turn when they stumble upon a ghastly truth.
