It’s Wednesday and time to take a look at what’s new on Disney+ in the United States today, which includes a brand new animated series from Africa and a brand new episode of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”, plus lots of new episodes of ABC drama shows.

Here’s the rundown:

Iwájú

“Iwájú” is an original animated series set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria. The exciting coming-of-age story follows Tola, a young girl from the wealthy island, and her best friend, Kole, a self-taught tech expert, as they discover the secrets and dangers hidden in their different worlds. Kugali filmmakers—including director Olufikayo Ziki Adeola, production designer Hamid Ibrahim and cultural consultant Toluwalakin Olowofoyeku—take viewers on a unique journey into the world of “Iwájú,” bursting with unique visual elements and technological advancements inspired by the spirit of Lagos.

Iwájú: A Day Ahead

A documentary special filmed across three continents that shares the story of the founders of the Pan-African entertainment company, Kugali, who made their dream a reality creating an original animation series with Walt Disney Animation Studios. Created by the ABC News Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios team that brought you “Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2,” the documentary shows anything is possible when talent meets opportunity.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Episode 304 “A Different Approach”

Dino Ranch (S3, 11 episodes)

“Dino Ranch” follows the adventures of the Cassidy family as it tackles life in a fantastical “pre-westoric” setting where dinosaurs still roam. As the young ranchers learn the ropes, they discover the thrill of ranch life whilst navigating the great outdoors through unpredictable challenges.

The Floor (New Episode) – HULU

A new game show hosted by Rob Lowe (9-1-1: Lone Star), The Floor sees 81 contestants face off in duels on a giant grid of squares representing their own field of trivia expertise. The winner of each timed head-to-head trivia battle takes control of their opponent’s square, while the loser goes home. In the special two-hour season one finale, the epic trivia face-off reaches its endgame as the 17 remaining contestants compete for the grand prize of $250,000

The Good Doctor (New Episode) – HULU

Shaun struggles to accommodate the newest member of his surgical team, Charlie, who interferes in a patient’s relationship with his daughter. Elsewhere, Park tackles a tricky brain tumor, and Lea and Morgan adjust to motherhood.

Will Trent (New Episode) – HULU

Picking up where things left off, tensions escalate as Will confronts James Ulster at the prison, unraveling a complex web of inmate secrets. Meanwhile, Faith speaks to some of the inmates, making discoveries of her own. Later, Ormewood tries to rebuild his relationship with his son Max, while Angie faces a pivotal moment that brings back memories of her own past. Amidst efforts to uncover the mastermind behind the crime spree, family dynamics and personal connections take center stage, setting the scene for an adrenaline-pumping continuation of the unfolding mystery.

Good Trouble (New Episode) – HULU

Mariana and Joaquin bring their evidence of Silas’s crimes to the police. Career opportunities lead to complications for Malika, Alice, Davia and Luca. Gael has an idea to take a stand against his former boss.

The Rookie (New Episode) – HULU

Nolan and Bailey’s honeymoon is more of a nightmare than dream when it turns into an active crime scene. Meanwhile, Tim and Celina partner up and must uncover the identity of a John Doe.
