It’s Wednesday and time to take a look at what’s new on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland today, which includes a number of new original series plus lots of brand new episodes of exclusive series.
Here’s the rundown:
The Quest
Brought to the screen by the Academy Award- and Emmy-winning teams behind “The Lord of the Rings,” “The Amazing Race” and “Queer Eye,” “The Quest” is a ground-breaking, immersive, hybrid competition series that drops eight real-life teenagers (Paladins) into the fantastic, fictional world of Everealm, where they must save a Kingdom by fulfilling an ancient prophecy. Throughout the eight-episode series, these heroes are immersed in a fantasy world come to life complete with a castle, royals, ethereal Fates, all forms of mystical creatures and a Sorceress intent on destruction and power.
Ousseline
On the night of 5 December 1986, 22-year-old Malik Oussekine was beaten to death by the police. The state machine steps into gear, led by Robert Pandraud. The Oussekine family quickly realise that they will have to fight for justice and to expose the truth. Oussekine is a four-episode miniseries about the Oussekine family’s struggle. It goes back through the events, shows their hopes and disillusions, and paints the portrait of a country in turmoil.
The Resident – Season 5 – Episode 17
Conrad treats one of Gigi’s fellow classmates, whose stomachache turns into something much more serious; Devon takes several interns to a senior living facility; Leela uncovers some unsettling news.
NCIS – Season 19 – Episode 8

How I Met Your Father
In the near future, Sophie (Hilary Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
The UK is getting the entire season at once. Ireland is getting the first 2 episodes.
