Today, Disney has released two brand new episodes from the second season of “How I Met Your Father” on Disney+ in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, in addition to on Hulu in the United States. These two episodes are the mid-season finale of the second season, which will return with additional episodes on Tuesday, May 23rd 2023 with 1 new episode each Tuesday through the 2-episode season finale on Tuesday, July 11th 2023.

Set in the near future, Sophie (Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the present where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.

In the tenth episode, called “I’m His Swish”, Sophie dates an older man, which encourages Jesse, Sid and Charlie to take better care of themselves. Sophie and Val battle over who gets the apartment for date night.

And in the eleventh episode, called “Daddy”, Sophie goes to Robert’s country house for the weekend. The gang celebrates Lost and Found Box Day at Pemberton’s.

The series stars Hilary Duff, Christopher Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, Suraj Sharma as well as recurring stars, Kim Cattrall, Daniel Augustin, Ashley Reyes and Josh Peck

“How I Met Your Father” is created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Executive producers include Aptaker, Berger, Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, Pamela Fryman, Adam Londy and Suzy Mamann Greenberg. Hilary Duff serves as a producer. “How I Met Your Father” is a production of 20th Television.

The first season and the first half of the second season of “How I Met Your Father”, along with the original series, “How I Met Your Mother” are also available to stream now on Disney+.
