What’s Coming To Disney+ This Week | Saint X (Canada)
It’s the start of a brand new week and time to take a look at what’s coming to Disney+ in Canada this week, which includes a brand new Australian original series and two brand new films, plus a big new drama series, “Saint X”.

Saint X – 3 Episodes
“Saint X” is a psychological drama, told via multiple timelines and perspectives, which explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre. It’s a series about how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.
Matildas: The World at Our Feet
“Matildas: The World at Our Feet” is an inspirational and intimate behind-the-scenes story of the CommBank Matildas – Australia’s women’s national football team. Following the stories of players including global superstar Sam Kerr, Ellie Carpenter, Mary Fowler and more, the Matildas reveal the sacrifices they’ve made and struggles they’ve endured as they strive to become the best in the world’s most popular sport.
Despite all their hardships, one goal follows them throughout – to leave a lasting legacy that empowers and inspires future generations to pursue their dreams. Across six episodes, join the players on and off the field as they work towards their biggest challenge yet – the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on home soil.
Sam – A Saxon
“Sam – A Saxon” is a German Original series. It tells the incredible, true story of Samuel Meffire, the first black policeman in East Germany. This is a gripping series that follows Sam’s irrepressible search for his place in an intensely prejudiced society. In his fight to overcome the system, he becomes the face of an anti-racism campaign and a symbol of a new Germany. However, his meteoric rise to fame is quickly followed by an abrupt downfall as he ends up behind bars with German tabloids branding him “public enemy #1”.

Tragedy befalls a seemingly happy man when his young daughter is kidnapped.

Repressed memories resurface for Taera, a woman whose life everyone envies.
The 1619 Project
Reframing the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of Black Americans at the very center of national narrative; the legacy of slavery shapes different aspects of contemporary American life.
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures (Shorts)
Set during The High Republic era, the animated series follows Jedi younglings as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need, and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way.

“Peter Pan & Wendy” introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. There, she encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.
