The Mandalorian has reunited with the Children of the Watch, but there are some shady things going on with the New Republic. The Bad Batch may have a new home, but the Empire is still searching for Omega as a motivation for Nala Se. And extreme footage of disasters is made into a documentary. Let’s check out what to watch this weekend on Disney+.

THE MANDALORIAN

The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH

“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

HOW TO WIN AT EVERYTHING

In this documentary series presenter Tim Shaw joins identical twins Chris and Justin Nelson to discover ways in which people can use science to succeed in life. The team explore how scientific theories can be put into practical use in everyday scenarios. One such scenario asks whether it’s better to use your foot or a crowbar to smash through a locked door in an emergency. Another wonders whether women are more attracted to men who dance or men who read. To reveal the best ones, the twins put the theories to the test.

RESTAURANTS AT THE END OF THE WORLD

Adventurous chef, entrepreneur and global trailblazer Kristen Kish travels the world in search of the people, places, culture and traditions behind the world’s most remote restaurants. Running any successful venture takes a certain tenacity and grit, but those who set up deep in the wild, cut off from the grid and normal supply lines, are in a class all their own. From local purveyors, farmers and herders to kitchen crew, managers and chefs, Kristen is going behind the scenes to meet the people, hear the stories and see the day-to-day balancing act required to keep food on the table in the most remote outposts on earth.

SUPERSTRUCTURES: ENGINEERING MARVELS

Exploring the engineering marvels that are the Superstructures on our Earth.

WITNESS TO DISASTER

Extreme footage and surviving witnesses bring to life the terrifying reality of what it is like to experience outright disaster.

THE ADVENTURES OF ICHABOD AND MR. TOAD

And if you are looking for legacy content, check out “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.” This film from Disney’s Wartime Era of Animation was released in 1949. It is the final package film before Disney’s return to feature-length narratives during the Silver Age.

Those are some of my picks. What will you be watching this weekend?
