“Venom: The Last Dance” Trailer Released
Sony has released the trailer for the third and final installment in the “Venom” trilogy, which is called “Venom: The Last Stand”.
In the new film, Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.
Check out the new trailer below:
“Venom: The Last Dance” stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham. The film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy and Hutch Parker.
The new movie is set to premiere in cinemas on October 25th 2024, and the film will be heading to Netflix in the United States after its theatrical release before heading to Disney+ as part of a multi-year Pay 2 window deal between Sony and Disney. The original “Venom” movie is also available to stream on Disney+ in some countries.
Roger’s Take: The trailer did a good job in giving us a little more information about what the focus of the film will be, with the introduction of Knull, who is a god of darkness and the creator of the symbiotes. Hopefully, Sony and Marvel can finalise a new deal to allow them to work together, rather than making this alternative Sony universe.
