Disney has announced that the third season of “Tokyo Revengers” will be returning on October 4th 2023, as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world and on Hulu in the United States, with new episodes being released weekly.

The series will follow other Japanese anime like “Bleach”, where it will be released on Japanese linear television first, with a global roll out a few hours later on Disney’s streaming services.

The series tells the story of Takemichi Hanagaki, who is at a low point in his life, living on part-time jobs, when he learns that his girlfriend from junior high, Hinata Tachibana, has been killed by the vicious Tokyo Manji Gang. The next day, Takemichi is standing on a train platform when he feels someone push him onto the tracks. Just when he thinks he’s about to die, he opens his eyes to find himself time-slipped twelve years in the past. Having time slipped to the best times of his life, his junior high school days, Takemichi decides to change himself, stop running away from things, and save his girlfriend. So begins the revenge for his life!

The second season of “Tokyo Revengers” is available to stream now on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
