“Thunderbolts*” Debuts On The Nielsen Streaming Charts

Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States from August 25th, 2025, to August 31st 2025. There are four different charts: Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies, and a combined total chart.

The biggest new release for Disney this week was the new Marvel movie, “Thunderbolts*”, which debuted on both the original and movie charts, though it was unable to beat the Netflix juggernaut “KPop Demon Hunters”, nor its new murder mystery original movie, “The Thursday Murder Club”.

Disney had two shows on the original chart, the sci-fi series, “Alien: Earth”, and the revival of “King Of The Hill”, both of which continue to pull in audiences on Hulu on Disney+.

Disney continues to hold on to a large portion of the acquired charts, with Disney’s biggest hits, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Bob’s Burgers”, “Family Guy” and “Bluey”, continuing to pull in viewers on Hulu and Disney+.
