Disney has announced a brand new short film called “The Shepherd”, which is going to be released on Disney+ on December 1st 2023. The film is set on Christmas Eve in 1957 and is about a young RAF pilot’s journey home which takes a dramatic turn when a mysterious airman appears.

“The Shepherd” stars Ben Radcliffe and Academy Award nominee John Travolta.   Also starring in the short are Steven Mackintosh, Asan N’Jie, Millie Kent, Luca Slade and Scarlet Grace.

Iain Softley has directed and written the film. It has been produced by Academy Award winner Alfonso Cuaron, Bill Kenwright, Richard Johns and Gabriela Rodriguez.
