“The Santa Clauses” Debuts On The Nielsen Streaming Chart
Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States for the week of 21st November 2022 through to 27th November 2022. There are four different charts, Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies and a combined total chart.
The first two episodes of “The Santa Clauses” pulled in audiences, to push the series into the chart, with “Star Wars: Andor” continuing to pull in viewers following the release of the finale. However, the new Netflix Original series, “Wednesday”, which is the latest instalment in “The Addams Family” franchise, was a massive success, almost pulling in more minutes watched than the entire originals chart, showcasing the power of a binge-drop and when a show clicks with an audience.
“Bluey” continues to be a huge draw for younger audiences for Disney+, and the new film, “Disenchanted”, also managed to pull in more viewers during this week.
Disney’s shows made by ABC, such as “Grey’s Anatomy”, continue to pull in viewers on Netflix. These shows are available on Disney+ internationally, including “NCIS” in the UK.
