The 20th Century Studios film “The Sandlot” will once again return to Disney+ in the United States on Friday 2nd February 2024.

“The Sandlot” tells the story of what happens when fifth-grader Scotty Smalls moves with his parents to a new town, he strikes out with the neighbourhood kids, especially at baseball. But soon, Scotty embarks on a magical summer of first kisses, hilarious adventures and encounters with the scary “beast” behind the left-field fence.

This film stars Karen Allen, Denis Leary and James Earl Jones. It has been directed by David Mickey Evans and produced by Dale De La Torre.

This will mark the fourth time that the film has been re-added back onto Disney+ in the US due to existing contracts made before Disney purchased 20th Century Fox. “The Sandlot” has previously been added to Disney+ in 2021 and twice in 2022, so it’s unclear how long “The Sandlot” will remain on Disney+ this time; hopefully, at some point, the existing contract expires, and the movie can stop yo-yo-ing between streaming services.

During this entire time, the film has still been available on Disney+ in other countries.
