Disney has announced that the Marvel 2004 film, “The Punisher”, will be released on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand on Friday, 6th January 2023.

Undercover FBI agent Frank Castle (Thomas Jane) is crushed when his wife and children are killed after accidentally witnessing a mafia hit. With nothing left to lose or to live for, Castle becomes “The Punisher” — a one-man judge, jury and executioner who declares open season on criminals throughout America.

The movie is based on the Marvel Comics character. The film also stars John Travolta, Laura Harring, Samantha Mathis and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos.

This film was created by Sony Pictures and is being released on Disney+ in many countries around the world due to a new licensing deal that includes many shows and films, including the “Spider-Man” films and more.
