Disney’s Searchlight Pictures has announced that “The Menu” will be arriving on digital platforms in the United States on January 3rd 2023 and will be released on physical media, including Blu-Ray and DVD on January 17th 2023, with never-before-seen bonus content that takes viewers behinds the scenes and inside the kitchen.

A young couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises. The dark comedy is written by Seth Reiss & Will Tracy, and directed by Mark Mylod.

*Bonus features vary by product and retailer

This outrageous tale of fine dining has been celebrated by critics as “gloriously twisted” (Chris Evangelista, Slash Film) “wildly entertaining” (Alan Cerny, Vital Thrills) and “undeniably fun” (Brian Tallerico, RogerEbert.com). The film is Certified-Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

With the digital release, we should expect the film to be released on HBO Max in the United States around the same time, since this will be one of the last films to be included in a long-standing ten-year deal with HBO that 20th Century Studios made.  While internationally, we should expect “The Menu” to also arrive on Disney+ soon, similar to other films like “Amsterdam” and “The Barbarian”.
