To celebrate National Cat Day, Marvel Studios has released a new poster for the upcoming film, “The Marvels”, featuring Goose, along with lots of other Flerken, which are extremely dangerous alien creatures who look a lot like normal kitty cats.

“The Marvels” picks up after the events of the post-credit scene of the Disney+ series, “Ms Marvels” and tells the story of Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, who has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilised universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

The upcoming movie stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Proton, Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel, along with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.  “The Marvels” also stars Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Park Seo-joon, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, and Saagar Shaikh.

“The Marvels” will be released in cinemas on November 10th 2023, and will likely be coming to Disney+ in early 2024.   While we wait for “The Marvels”, we can get prepared by watching “Captain Marvel”, “WandaVision” and “Ms Marvel” on Disney+ now.
