Disney held a special premiere event on Tuesday evening, where the cast and executive producers of “The Company You Keep” gathered at the Hotel Per La in Los Angeles

Attendees included executive producer and star Milo Ventimiglia, Catherine Haena Kim, Sarah Wayne Callies, Felisha Terrell, James Saito, William Fichtner, Freda Foh Shen, Tim Chiou, Polly Draper and Shaylee Mansfield, as well as showrunners and executive producers Julia Cohen and Phil Klemmer, executive producers Russ Cundiff, Caitlin Foito, Todd Harthan and Lindsay Goffman, and producer Deanna Harris.

Following a screening of the debut episode, guests were treated to an intimate conversation with the two leads, moderated by Frazier Tharpe, senior entertainment editor at GQ.

The series tells the story of what happens after a night of passion leads to love between con man Charlie and undercover CIA officer Emma, who are unknowingly on a collision course professionally. While Charlie ramps up the “family business” so he can get out for good, Emma’s closing in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie’s family debts in hand – forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences. The series is based on the Korean Broadcasting System series entitled “My Fellow Citizens.”

“The Company You Keep” stars Milo Ventimiglia as Charlie Nicolleti, Catherine Haena Kim as Emma Hill, William Fichtner as Leo Nicolleti, Tim Chiou as David Hill, Freda Foh Shen as Grace Hill, James Saito as Joseph Hill, Sarah Wayne Callies as Birdie, Felisha Terrell as Daphne Finch and Polly Draper as Fran Nicoletti.

Executive producers and co-showrunners are Julia Cohen and Phil Klemmer, Milo Ventimiglia and Russ Cundiff (DiVide Pictures), Jon M. Chu and Caitlin Foito (Electric Somewhere), Todd Harthan and Lindsay Goffman (Gratitude Productions). Deanna Harris (DiVide Pictures) is a producer. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.

“The Company You Keep” will premiere on Sunday 19th February 2023 on ABC, with new episodes being released on Hulu the following day. We should also expect to see this series released as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world at a later date.
