“Star Wars: The Mandalorian And Grogu” Trailer Released
After three seasons of “The Mandalorian”, Mando and Grogu are heading to the big screen for their next adventure, and Disney has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming movie, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu”, which is coming to cinemas this summer.
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.

Directed by Jon Favreau, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” also stars Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with music composed by Ludwig Göransson.
“Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” will be coming exclusively to cinemas on May 22nd, 2026, and it will be coming to Disney+ a few months later.
The previous three seasons of “The Mandalorian” are available to stream on Disney+.
Roger’s Take: The trailer did a great job of showing that this film is going to be much bigger in scope than the Disney+ show, with lots of big special effects. While it does have a few Easter eggs and references to the TV show, it looks to be its own self-contained story. I know I’ll be at the cinema on opening day, but the big question is going to be whether or not the general audience is willing to go to the cinema to see characters they’ve previously seen just on Disney+.
