Ever since “Solo: A Star Wars Story“ was released, there have been calls for a sequel and according to the latest rumor from Kessel Run Transmissions, a spin-off series seeing Donald Glover return as a young version of Lando Calrissian.

It’s apparently still in the early stages, and according to their sources, Donald Glover has either signed on or is close to signing on to the series.  However, it should be noted that things could still fall through.

There have been many reports over the years about more Disney+ series featuring characters such as Darth Maul, Chewbacca, Han Solo and more, so it’s likely these well-known characters could be included in a Lando spin-off.

There is also another plan for a Lando spin-off series, set after the events of “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker“, with Billy Dee Williams returning along Naomi Ackie who played Jannah.  Who was revealed to be Lando’s daughter in expanded novels from the movie.

Nothing has yet been officially revealed, but with the Star Wars Celebration event originally due to take place in a few weeks, before being cancelled, it is expected more Star Wars reveals would be coming soon, such as the recent series announcement for “The Bad Batch”.
