This week sees the opening of the new Star Wars themed area, Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort, with another version opening in August at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.

Recently Disney CEO Bob Iger spoke with CNBC about the Galaxy’s Edge and confirmed that there are elements from the new Disney+ Original show, The Mandalorian, in the themed area.

He said that when people see the new Disney+ show and visit Galaxy’s Edge, they will notice things that are from it, as well as from the upcoming movie, Star Wars: Rise Of Skywalker.

Imagineers have been working with many different teams within Disney to help create an elaborately interwoven world that can evolve with the franchise.

We will just have to wait until November 12th to see the Mandalorian on Disney+ to see what Bob Iger is referring to.

Are you going to be visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge?
