During the Disney Entertainment Showcase panel at D23: Ultimate Fan Event, Disney confirmed that the second season of “Andor” will be coming to Disney+ in 2025.

It was also confirmed that the second season will cover the four-year period between the events of the first season and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

Diego Luna took to the stage to also reveal that Forest Whitaker will return as Saw Gerrera and Ben Mendelsohn will officially return as Krennic .

The first season of “Andor” is available to stream now on Disney+, which explores a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
