This past weekend, Disney hosted a special Emmy FYC (For Your Consideration) event in Los Angeles for the Disney+ Original series, “Star Wars: Andor”.  The event was attended by creator/showrunner, executive producer and writer Tony Gilroy (“Rogue One”, “Michael Clayton”, the Bourne trilogy) and executive producer Sanne Wohlenberg (“Chernobyl”),  executive producer/star Diego Luna and guest actors Andy Serkis and Fiona Shaw(BAFTA TV nominee). The event included a screening of Episode 12, the finale of the highly acclaimed series, followed by a Q&A, which was moderated by Dan Fienberg, Chief TV Critic for The Hollywood Reporter.

Season 1 of “Andor” was met with widespread critical acclaim and garnered nominations for the show and/or its lead actor from the Writers Guild of America, Producers Guild of America,  Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards as well as craft nominations from the Art Directors Guild, the Society of Composers and Lyricists, Motion Picture Sound Editors, Visual Effects Society and a win from the American Cinema Editors.
