One of the first projects announced for Disney+ was a brand new Star Wars series following Captain Cassian Andor, who was first introduced in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”.

“Andor”, is a tense nail-biting spy thriller created by Tony Gilroy and will see Diego Luna, reprising the role of rebel spy Cassian Andor and he will be joined by Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Genevieve O’Reilly, who will be returning as Mon Mothma.

Disney’s Chief Financial Officer, Christine McCarthy, has revealed that the series will be coming to Disney+ in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2022, which means it’s likely to arrive on the streaming service between July and September 2022.

With Disney+ Day taking place this coming Friday, hopefully, we can find out more about this new series.  We saw a sizzle reel from the series last December, but haven’t seen too much since.
