With just ten days to go until the new Star Wars series, “Ahsoka”, arrives on Disney+, a brand new teaser trailer has been released teasing a cameo appearance by Anakin Skywalker, who is played by Hayden Christensen.

Set after the fall of the Empire, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Hayden Christensen previously starred as Anakin Skywalker in the prequel trilogy and reprised his role for last year’s “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Disney+ series. Ahsoka was originally introduced in “The Clone Wars” animated series as a padawan of Anakin Skywalker, before eventually walking away from the Jedi, but in this new teaser, it looks like we may get a flashback scene or two!

“Ahsoka” stars Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, Diana Lee Inosanto, David Tennant, Lars Mikkelsen and Eman Esfandi. The episodes are directed by Dave Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa. Dave Filoni is the head writer and executive produces along with Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist serves as co-executive producer.

The first two episodes of “Ahsoka” are being released on Disney+ on Wednesday 23rd August 2023, and you can get ready for “Ahsoka” by watching “The Clone Wars” and “Rebels” animated series on Disney+ now.
