Today, Sony Pictures has released the followup to the hit Marvel animated film, “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse,” on physical media including 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD.   The film had been previously released on digital platforms to purchase.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse’s very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must set out on his own to save those he loves most. Anyone can wear the mask – it’s how you wear it that makes you a hero.

Due to an agreement between Sony and Disney, “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse”, will be coming to Disney’s streaming services, including Disney+ in the United States in its Pay 2 window, following an initial eighteen months on Netflix for its Pay 1 window.

The first film in the trilogy, “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse,” is also available to stream now on Disney+ in many countries.  But because this is a Sony Pictures film, it might be years until “Across The Spider-Verse” is out on Disney+ internationally.
