Disney has announced that the fifth season of the adult-animated series, “Solar Opposites”, will be returning this coming summer.

The series is about a team of four aliens escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Dan Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living supercomputer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.

In the fifth season of “Solar Opposites”, now that alien mission partners Terry and Korvo are married, the whole Solar Opposites team are focused on family values.

“Solar Opposites” is executive produced by Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.

The new season will consist of twelve episodes and will be released on August 12th 2024 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.  The new season will also be released on Disney+ internationally.

The previous four seasons are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States, and on Disney+ internationally.
