Disney’s Searchlight Pictures has announced that its upcoming movie, “Kinds Of Kindness”, will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France, which takes place from May 15th through 25th 2024. 

The film is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

A short teaser trailer and poster has also been released for the film’s upcoming release:

“Kinds Of Kindness” has been directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who has also co-written the screenplay with Efthimis Filippou. 

The producers on the film include Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe of Element, Kasia Malipan, and Yorgos Lanthimos.

The movie stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.

“Kinds Of Kindness” will be released in cinemas in the United States on June 21st 2024 and will be released the following week on the 28th in the United Kingdom.  Expect to see “Kinds Of Kindness” released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the Fall, along with an international release on Disney+ following its theatrical run.
